FMEA Training: What it is

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is the industry standard way to ensure that risk and waste of resources (such as labour and time) are kept to an absolute minimum in any given organization’s product development activities or manufacturing workflow. This helps with the end product itself and the process which works towards creating the end product.

Waste can occur at any point throughout a given automotive industry’s procedural pipeline, and any place it does occur is going to create a problem that could be avoided by practicing FMEA techniques. The Difference Between PFMEA and DFMEA

As part of either FMEA course, we’ll also teach a module called Translating Customer’s Requirements, suitable for managers and engineers alike. The goal of this course is to learn how to better integrate customer-specific requirements into your organization by effectively ‘translating’ those requirements into real, tangible characteristics.
